Installers fitting black solar panels on an Adelaide roof

Solar prices vary a lot between quotes. Here is what a good system costs in Adelaide this year, and what changes the number.

Starting prices

  • 6.6 kW solar: from $4,990. Suits most two to three person homes.
  • 10 kW solar: from $7,990. Larger homes, pools and EVs.
  • 13.5 kWh battery: from $10,990. Adds to solar you already have.
  • 6.6 kW solar + 13.5 kWh battery: from $14,990. Our most popular package.

These include GST and the federal incentives. A 6.6 kW system earns about 45 solar certificates in Adelaide, roughly $1,750 off, and we take it off the price for you.

What is included

  • Tier-one black panels and an inverter ready for Flexible Exports.
  • Install by our own accredited electricians.
  • Grid paperwork and app monitoring.
  • A 5-year workmanship warranty on top of the product warranties.

What can push the price up

  • A two-storey roof, which needs more safety gear.
  • An old switchboard that needs an upgrade.
  • Panels split across several roof faces.
  • Battery backup wiring for the whole house rather than key circuits.

A free site visit tells us which of these apply. Then you get a fixed price, not an estimate.

Watch out for very cheap quotes

A low price often means unknown panels, a basic inverter or subcontracted crews. Ask who makes the panels, who installs them and who you call if something goes wrong.

Prices are for a standard single-storey install in Adelaide metro, finished by 31 December 2026.
